Only one thing is certain about e-Learning, it is in a continuous state of transformation.

Science continues to reveal fascinatinating information about the human brain,  challenging instructional designers to re-define the learning process.

Bloom's Taxonomy, ADDIE are still relevant, but we need to strip these time honored methodologies down to the basics.

We need to go beyond accepting a user's "knowing" of a subject to actually "using" the subject.

Design elements are important but they aren't as important as clear written content that challenges the user to apply what they have just learned to a situation.

We learn by doing, not by watching a demonstration and being passive in our learning process.
